Owned and operated by Kate Parsons, Tassels & Trim is a custom window treatment business that has been in business since 2002. Our goal is to provide solutions that answer not only your functional needs, but to do so in a comfortable, beautiful, distinctive and timeless manner.

The comprehensive services we provide begin with an initial consultation to discuss your window covering needs. This includes taking complete measurements, discussing potential solutions, selecting products and materials suitable for the situation, as well as any other considerations for the project. Budget and scheduling are considered. Personalized service is maintained through the project to installation and the customer’s satisfaction.

Tassels & Trim grew out of Kate’s longtime interest in interior design and decorating, combined with an interest in creating things by hand. Along with a decorator friend, Kate began creating custom window treatments for customers in the greater Glens Falls area. To gain the professional skills that set her work apart, she has attended classes and conferences through the Custom Home Furnishing Academy. She works with customers directly, as well as with local designers throughout the North Country, Saratoga Springs and the Capital District.

Kate’s work has been seen in a number of local showhouses, including the 2015 Saratoga County Builders Showcase of Homes – Carriage House Lane by Witt Construction; Interior Design by DeRocker Design.
